Safe Mode Firmware Update
In Safe Mode, the device will automatically attempt to download and install the latest firmware if connected to the internet.
Use Secure Mode when:
- You have a permanent white spinning light, which means the firmware update was interrupted
- Your Oasis Device is not making connections, or not functioning properly
- Our support team asks you to perform a recovery update
To start the Oasis Device in Safe Mode:
1. Unplug the Oasis Device
2. While holding the button, plug the Oasis Device in
3. Hold the button until the lights appear red while they spin.
- If your Oasis Device has not been able to connect to the internet, the Oasis Device will pulse red and you will have to “add new device” in the Oasis Control app for it to update.
- If your Oasis Device has been connected to the internet, it will automatically update.
4. The lights will turn white, and start filling 1 LED at a time to indicate a loading bar. The firmware update can take up to 5 minutes
5. Once the firmware update is complete, you will have rainbow LED’s on your Oasis Device and you will be able to connect via the app.
